Content and other people’s data
Whatever you type onto a receipt, you must not use the service to:
- Include another person’s personal data without a lawful basis for doing so — full card numbers, national identification numbers, home addresses and the like.
- Include material that is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening or sexually exploitative, or that infringes someone else’s copyright or trademark.
- Encode links to malware, phishing pages or other harmful destinations in a barcode or QR code.
- Impersonate a real individual.
Receipts do not need real card numbers to look right. Use the last four digits, or invent them.
